In addition, Thanksgiving Share utilizes the Waitr system to employ drivers who deliver meals to those in need and food pantries to reach individuals and families in the community.

Problem
How we can find the food sources and deliver the food waste to the people who lives in a food dessert.

Solution
Creating a responsive Website that connect the food sources, drivers, and people in need together.

My Role
UX/UI Designer

Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop

This project started by researching food insecurity and investigating the ways we can solve this problem. We started meeting and interviewing people and organizations which directly work with food insecurity, such as Sam’s Club and NWA Food Bank.

"How Might We" Questions
To keep the team focused on the right problems to solve and generate creative solutions, we used the "How Might We" questions technique. The areas we worked on was "how might we help the families and communities in food deserts get access to food option," "how might we enable low-income communities and families to get meals," and how might we help businesses reach distinct communities living in food deserts.
Persona
Based on the research we created personas to understand the users' needs, experiences, behaviors, and goals. We had three main roles for our personas; person in need, transporter, and restaurant/store owner.
According to personas, we started Ideation with brainstorming and prototyping. We had multiple sessions to generate ideas for the best solution.

Clickable prototype
Desktop Version Design
Mobile Version Design
At this point, we had the clickable prototype, so we reviewed the prototype with users. We described the scenario to the users and let them go through the prototype and left a comment, so we could observe their behaviors and capture their feedback.
